Magic of Oz: 2016 Easter Egg Hunt

The Magic of Oz annual Easter Egg Hunt is back in all of it's glory! This is one of my favorite events - at the landing point (see above) you click a sign for instructions and your Easter basket, but I'll spoil how it works here - wear one of the baskets (big or small), click all the eggs you see, and every six eggs you can select a stack of eggs from one of the tons of stores offering gifts. The eggs themselves are about a quarter of a meter high and brightly colored; they vanish when you click one, and reappear pretty quickly - so you don't really need to compete with the crowds on the sim! Also, there's a 30 second lag time between eggs (it tells you when the 30 seconds are up), so you have time to admire the scenery and snap some pictures for posterity.

Stores with prizes include Magic of Oz staples: Cerridwen's Cauldron, Cubic Cherry Kre-ations, Fallen Gods Inc., Half-Deer, katat0nik, Ozimals Pufflings and Bunnies, Schadenfreude, and silentsparrow. Ozimals Bunnies and Pufferings both offer multiple eggs, so pick up multiple keys, and most of these gifts won't be available through other means! Wear the stack of eggs on your head, get within a few meters of the Easter basket in the shop, and click the eggs on your head. You get a prize! For stores with multiple prizes it's randomly assigned, so I recommend getting lots of stacks of eggs before seeking out Munchkinland and all of the stores there.

At the end of the hunt you not only have awesome prizes, but also a decorative Easter Basket to cherish forever. There are in depth instructions and images/descriptions of the prizes at the Ozimal Website, but honestly with something this fun I suggest you just dive in! And remember to look inside the flower bells!
