Cometics Faire: Smile and Sparkle

Until March 31st the Cosmetics Faire is going on, and the lewt available is amazing! In addition to cosmetics, hair, eyes, and even decorations for the face are on sale. I managed to pull together a really fun look from these bright and cheerful offerings. Central to the whole look is a set of coordinated cosmetics and separate nails from La Boheme. The eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick is accompanied by a second set of blush and two eyebrow styles as well. There are four total palettes, each one drawing some inspiration from the Pantone colors of the year. The nails, in contrast, have a relatively simple theme but are tinted to match a wide variety of skin tones for the perfect French Manicure with jeweled embellishments - simple and lovely. I love her nails for the polish, and she carries that same sleek style to her cosmetics as well.

La Boheme isn't the only store offering up a variety of items - Arise is putting forth both eyes and some interesting dot-themed decoration for around the eyes. The eyes are clear and bright with realistic texturing in the iris, dark reddish shading for the sclera, and simple but distinct reflections. Sorinkled among the naturalistic browns and blues are some stand-out shades like red and purple, but they never become cartoony or over-saturated. The eye dots are, in contrast, deceptively simple. Set to be tintable, the edges are clean and work well even on my slightly over-sized eyes. Sprinkled all over my face, layered over the rest of my cosmetics, are a lovely set of brightly colored freckles made by NOX. I love the speckled quality of them, so natural despite the hues, with pleasant random placement. And, of course, they are rainbow - I can't help but think they were all but made for me! I just wish I had a full body set with SLink appliers!

You wouldn't expect it, but this hair from [KoKoLoReS] also is available at the Cosmetics Faire. Recolorable via HUD, the dual colored style is one of the options though the two part of the hair can't be colored separately. What I like most about this style is the bits of extra hair across the face or sticking out from the top or side. Check out the curving pieces of hair my ear - an excellent touch for an updo! The other unusual, but very fun, addition to my look is a forehead jewel from :Zombie.Suicide:. Simple, HUD tintable for the jem, and also editable (my favorite!), this is a stylish addition to any look and a simple way to mark out a high forehead. I had to edit it slightly to fit the curve of my forehead, but that was very easily done! Definitely check it out to highlight you shiny looks this Cosmetics Faire!
