Monday Meme: Black & White Portrait Challenge

Strawberry has given us another meme to do, this time a Black and White Challenge. I considered trying to make it in-world black and white, but I'll leave that for a later time when I have more time to play around with skins. In this case, I rushed home to do a studio shot, picking through my inventory to find things which were bold, simple, but which I thought would look well transformed into grey-scale. When I did photography, ages ago in high school where we did everything manually, I worked exclusively in grey-scale. It's much easier to get white whites and dark darks in graphics, though; when working with film, my pictures always seemed to end up washed out and dirty in some way.

You can see the original color image on Flickr, but I hope you like the black and white here; I didn't bother as much with matching colors since I knew the colors would be gone in the final image.
