LEA 29: Everything Falls Apart

Watermelon Repose

Mistero Hifeng has already opened his sim, LEA 29, for visitors. A collection of his unusual statuary, a striking combination of neutral colors and disintegrating forms, his figures walk quiet paths across the sim, group in increasing size, or even lie prone along multiple rims, framing in the edges between land and water. The effects are surreal, with sharp contrasts between figures and much that is distorted or dissolved - bent, twisted, caged and chained.

The More I Grip You...

Windlight has a powerful effect as well, since most of the statues are light or dark grey with a grey ground and reflective water; I ended up using many of the brighter windlights I normally avoid. The colors played out both over the surfaces and the depths beautifully, and oh so enjoyably. I really recommend going over and playing yourself - there are several more months, but why wait?
