When I'm not feeling well, everything seems to fade into shimmers of peachy pale and pastel. There is a mono-focus that comes from being sick, and a vagueness that comes from most of your body's energy being leeched off to fight back - along with a generous helping of cold medicine! Today is the first day I've felt myself shaking loose of that, and though the haze remains, it's good to see the hints of light in the windows.
