Cosmetics Faire: Six Colors, Six Looks

Cosmetics Fair: Red

The amount of options at the Cosmetics Faire are simply jaw dropping, and I had fun flipping through the rainbow and exploring a bunch of options! The hair choices are awesome this time around. Pink Hustler has the cutest off-center ponytail design, another bit of hair wrapped around it's base and the rigged trailing ends available in normal and busty. It's recolorable via a HUD, offering up a ton of options with a single click. The textures come with a ton of options and most include subtle root shading. Ayashi also went the updo route - this time with a cute bun style complete with loose tendrils; I especially like the tendrils out of the buns themselves - gorgeous bit of verisimilitude. It comes both rigged and resizable and is recolorable via a HUD and the fatpack has a truly impressive array of options, from the realistic to the magical. [KoKoLoReS] has a couple of styles on offer; below I show off Robin, a short style with a fun, asymmetrical bang line. I really love the way the hair curves, as if it were cut by a master stylist. It comes with options for a single tint and a dichoromatic setup via various HUDs and the colors included are clear and bright. The final style I'm showing off is a short, curly style from Lovey Dovey with lots of body and one of my favorite things - tons of ombre textures including a fantastic rainbow - though I'm showing off a Torley style watermelon ombre in these images.

The eyes I'm wearing are a wide variety of  ** [BAMBOO]'s colors, all of them with a naturalistic bent. The hazel and greens are particularly fine, with distinct shades working together well, and the mesh eyes are recolorable via a HUD. Here and there I added in highlight sets with their subtle but distinct accents. #adored made some tone-appropriate highlights for light, medium, and dark skin with catwa and omega appliers as well as the tattoo layers I'm using. They also made some amazing and bright eyebrows, perfect to make a strong statement with an equally strong hair. The fluffy ends along the top line is fantastic, and this isn't the last we've seen of #adored! Veechi also made some highlights, modifying theirs with different shade accents for a subtle, colored effect. I love the addition of faint hints of colors which can then be accented by the eyeshadows also released by Veechi - a great example of different layers of cosmetics working together. All of them come in tattoo layers and with appliers for Catwa, Genesis, LeLutka and Logo. Speaking of eyeshadows, NOX. released some really stellar ones with an interesting shape to it; the color not only follows the curve of the eye, it also bursts out at the inner eye for a pop of color. Along with the included tattoo layers, NOX. has appliers for CatWa, LeLukta, Omega, and TMP.

There are also a ton of cheek decorations available. Our friend #adored is back with some sparkly glitter freckles in a ton of colors. I love the sweet and sparkly effect, and it's wonderfully accented by the bright spots of #adored's highlights. A more natural cheek accent comes from Zombie Suicide in the form of dimples colored for light, medium, and dark skins and with Catwa and Omega appliers included. Paired with a wide grin they are simply perfection. Another natural addition, this one with a ton of options, are several types of moles from ** [BAMBOO] in a soft brown tone. They add a charming and unique edge to any skin. Far less naturalistic, but equally charming, are bold facial  tattoos from Chemical Princess. One is a dark cheek and forehead accent inspired by anime while the others are Lotus-style graphics and surrounding decorations available in various opacities of black and white. All of them come with tattoos and omega appliers.

Cosmetics Fair: Green

Chemical Princess also has a bit of jewelry for sale - various colors of cross nose jewelry which fits easily onto any face. I'm not normally one for septum piercings, but they're definitly a striking addition to any look. Another bit of jewelry came from Eyecandy - a set of flowers for the face and chest, though I ended up enlarging them slightly and moving them up to fit into my hair. I love the options offered by that simple modify-ok, and the colors are soft and sweet. Thank you, Eyecandy! For the lips it's a lot of our old friends. Zombie Suicide is back with some sweet and soft pastel colors with a lovely matte finish - subtle without being overwhelming and in a ton of colors. #adored glams it up with super glossy lips with bright and clear shine, also in a ton of colors. The edges are wide, offering a luscious and large effect for anyones lips. And finally the wonderful NOX. returns with softly textured lips with just a hint of shine - subtle and delightful for any shape of lip.

Cosmetics Fair: Blue

The finishing touch for any look is the nails, and Dark Passions brings it with three very different styles, two of which work off of the same shapes but with very different palettes. Crazy Daisy and Dark Craizy Daisy both have a variety of stripes and daisy shapes, but the former combines blue and yellow for a cheerful effect while the latter subdues cheerful into simple shades of black and white. The third set of designs have pink, blue, and purple pastels worked with silver and black accents. All of them are available for a ton of nails types, including Slink, Maitreya, and Omega, so your set whatever hands you're rocking. There's only a little longer to get to the Cosmetics Faire - make sure to hurry to check out all of these awesome cosmetics, facial jewelry, and hair while they're still available and make your own rainbows!
